After a long, cold winter and drizzly and overcast early spring, the warm weather is finally upon us. This recent stretch of consistently sunny and warm weather makes it feel like spring is here to stay.
I’m starting to see more and more riders out on the road and have begun riding more regularly outside myself, whether for fitness or to go for a ride with the kids.
A good spring goal in Massachusetts in the CRW Spring Century. Leaving Wakefield early on Sunday May 18th the route heads north along the Merrimack river valley and into New Hampshire. It’s a nice route that’s not too challenging. A good early season century route. Find out more info here: http://www.crw.org/SpringCentury.htm
Most regular club rides are up an running too, so check out the links to the clubs on this site and look for the regular ride schedules. There are many great groups located throughout the state and all welcome new riders. Go check one out near you and start getting ready for the 2008 season.
