"Wired to Win" Boston Premeire

A larger than life IMAX film about professional cycling is debuting in Boston next week (Dec 9th) at the Museum of Science, albeit dramatically altered from the original concept and over a year later than orginally planned.

The project was orginally conceived to follow a pro cyclist through the Tour de France, studying the effect of such an event on the human body and brain. And they couldn’t have chosen a better protagonist or year to do it. As you may recall our own Tyler Hamilton of Massachusetts rode a fantastic TdF in 2003 with an epic solo stage win in the Pyrénées on stage 16 and overall 4th place finish. The project was apparently radically altered after Tyler was banned from cycling for two years for blood doping during the 2004 Vuelta, a charge he has been vigorously fighting ever since. It’ll be interesting to see how the movie turns out…
